Welcome!

This is my safe place. A place where I’m accepted, cared for and loved – a place where I can write what I want and be myself with absolutely no fear of judgement at all!

Have a look around. Observe, Interact, Connect. You’re not alone. Be as quiet or as loud as you want. Stay lighthearted but know it’s a safe place if you need it.

Full disclosure;

This blog is an exercise to support my mental wellbeing. It will contain the raw details of how I came to be the person I am today, my memories of childhood, becoming a ‘young mum’ at 18, Autism, Mental Health, relieving my biggest secret, co-parenting with a twist & day to day life. My story – my life.

About Me

Hi! My name is Chloe, I’m 28 from Scotland and I’m a mum and wife to be. We have our two yappy chihuahua’s and I currently work as a support worker.

I’m confident I have undiagnosed Autism and maybe other additional needs. My mental health takes me on a never ending rollercoaster with a lot of ups and downs.

I can’t seem to balance life & work. I find parenting hard. Friendships and relationships are confusing. I get overwhelmed from masking day in, day out. Pretending to cope when in reality, I’m only just keeping my head above water.

But I’m happy, my Fiancée makes me happy, my kids make me happy, my job, my friends, my family, the person who smiles at me on the school run. I’m happy to be alive but it doesn’t mean things couldn’t be easier.

Honestly, I’m not sure what my plan is here but maybe getting everything out there will help me to understand and accept myself & maybe help others do the same.
